The Canadian Quran Academy’s Advanced Arabic Course in Canada focuses on eliminating hesitation, expanding active vocabulary to five thousand words, and mastering grammatical structures that distinguish educated native speakers from intermediate learners. Students practice Arabic writing for formal contexts—business correspondence, academic papers, and public addresses. Lessons include advanced Arabic listening comprehension using unscripted news broadcasts, academic lectures, and rapid conversational exchanges.
Advanced Arabic speaking practice emphasizes idiomatic fluency—students learn to express abstract concepts, argue positions persuasively, and shift between formal and colloquial registers appropriately. The Canadian Quran Academy’s instructors conduct entire sessions in Arabic, correcting subtle errors in word choice, pronoun agreement, and verb mood selection that intermediate students overlook but native speakers immediately notice.
The Canadian Quran Academy’s Advanced Arabic Course builds specialized competencies through literary analysis, formal composition practice, and exposure to diverse dialectical variations beyond Modern Standard Arabic conventions.
Advanced Arabic syntax includes embedded relative clauses, conditional sentences, and circumstantial phrases modifying entire clauses. Students parse long sentences from Arabic editorials—identifying subject, predicate, and subordinate elements within structures over thirty words. The Canadian Quran Academy trains learners to recognize grammatical relationships across clauses, ensuring comprehension where intermediate students typically struggle.
Medical, legal, financial, and technological texts use specialized Arabic vocabulary. Advanced students learn domain-specific terms through contextual reading—examining journal abstracts, legal clauses, and economic reports. The Canadian Quran Academy equips Calgary healthcare professionals, Edmonton lawyers, and Toronto consultants with vocabulary essential for effective communication, research analysis, and navigating complex professional Arabic contexts.
Formal Arabic writing requires unique rhetorical conventions—opening phrases, transitions, and closings differing from English academic style. Students practice essays, reports, and correspondence while instructors critique word choice, grammar, and style. The Canadian Quran Academy ensures learners produce credible, polished compositions, avoiding subtle errors that reduce clarity or persuasiveness despite technically correct grammar.
Advanced listening involves following rapid debates, regional accents, and implied meanings. Students analyze Al Jazeera segments, conference talks, and political programs with interruptions, colloquialisms, and cultural references. The Canadian Quran Academy prepares Vancouver journalists and Montreal academics to comprehend authentic Arabic discourse, bridging gaps where intermediate learners cannot fully grasp unscripted, naturally spoken content.

This outcome requires automatic recognition of sophisticated grammatical patterns and extensive vocabulary across multiple domains. Canadian graduate students, researchers, and professionals access primary sources without translation delays that compromise research quality or business negotiations.
The Canadian Quran Academy’s composition training enables advanced learners to write conference papers, business proposals, and editorials meeting native-speaker standards. Students produce grammatically precise text, use appropriate vocabulary, and structure arguments per Arabic rhetorical conventions. Toronto academics, Montreal consultants, and Vancouver leaders apply this skill immediately in professional publications and communications.
Students participate in rapid exchanges, present complex arguments persuasively, and handle unexpected questions without reverting to English. The Canadian Quran Academy's advanced speaking practice simulates job interviews, conference presentations, and business negotiations where hesitation signals incompetence. Calgary professionals conducting Arabic-language meetings and Edmonton educators delivering university lectures both require this pressure-tested fluency.
Advanced training enables students to follow Arabic news programs, academic lectures, and business negotiations without subtitles. They understand cultural references, implied criticism, and distinguish euphemisms from direct statements. This skill allows Vancouver journalists and Montreal diplomats to analyze Arabic media and participate effectively in professional and international contexts.
While focusing on Modern Standard Arabic, the Canadian Quran Academy’s Advanced Arabic Course exposes students to Egyptian, Levantine, and Gulf dialect features affecting pronunciation, vocabulary, and expressions. Advanced learners recognize regional variations without formal dialect training, benefiting Toronto professionals engaging diverse Arabic speakers and Ottawa employees serving immigrant communities.
Students translate complex English texts into grammatically accurate, stylistically appropriate Arabic and render sophisticated Arabic content into natural English. The Canadian Quran Academy's translation exercises address false cognates, untranslatable cultural concepts, and register mismatches that betray amateur work. Calgary translators, Edmonton interpreters, and Vancouver court liaisons require this bidirectional competency for professional practice.

Alhumdulilah my son 7yr old loves his Quran classes. Sheikh Nour Eddin Mohmoud is very interactive and makes it very interesting for my son. MashaAllah my son has progressed in his Tajweed learning, applying and memorizing. After so many teachers finally found Sheikh Nour who understands and communicate with parents and listens as to what exactly one is looking for their child. I really recommend this institute and sheikh Nour . InshaAllah I want my other son to start with Sheikh Nour as well. Hope this helps for anyone who is looking to get their kids to learn online.
Alhamdulillah this is a great place to learn Quran, Islamic Studies, and Arabic. I took these three classes and gained a lot. They teach through zoom in one on one sessions where you decide the time and day. I used whatsapp as the communication and the coordinators were really responsive. For Quran, we would read the arabic together and then learn the tafsir. After that I would memorize the surah or a portion for the next class. For Arabic, it was a focus on vocabulary and conjugations of verbs. For Islamic studies you went through a text together. The teachers are really nice and you can ask anything. I found it enjoyable learning about a different culture as I was raised in America. Give it a try!
Real transformations from students who mastered the Quran with our courses
I took a course at Shaykhi Academy, and my name is Hamza Osama from England. During my time there, I learned the Arabic alphabet and Tajweed rules. I have also successfully memorized approximately two Juz of the Quran. My teacher was the best, and I feel I benefited a lot from him. I would advise anyone who wants to learn the Arabic language, Tajweed rules, or the Quran to join Shaykhi Academy.
I’m Yahia Sarhan, I’m 15 years old and I’m from Canada. I’ve been a student at Shaykhi Academy since 2019, so about three or four years now. It’s been a great learning opportunity for me and I’ve learned a lot about Islamic studies, the Quran, and Arabic reading. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s trying to learn.
