The Canadian Quran Academy’s Arabic Grammar Course in Canada teaches noun declension systems, verb conjugation patterns, and sentence structure rules governing Modern Standard Arabic. Students learn case endings that determine grammatical function, master verb forms across past, present, and command tenses, and practice constructing nominal and verbal sentences. Lessons cover agreement rules for gender, number, and definiteness that English lacks entirely.
Canadian learners gain grammatical precision essential for Arabic reading comprehension, accurate writing, and confident speaking. Toronto professionals drafting Arabic correspondence, Vancouver students pursuing Arabic literature studies, and Montreal community members preparing bilingual presentations all require systematic grammar knowledge. The Canadian Quran Academy’s structured approach builds competency through pattern recognition rather than isolated rule memorization.

The Canadian Quran Academy’s Arabic Grammar Course in Canada focuses on morphological patterns and syntactic rules through progressive difficulty levels. Students practice identifying noun types, conjugating verbs across all forms, and applying case endings correctly. Lessons include Arabic sentence construction exercises—forming questions, negations, and conditional statements while maintaining grammatical accuracy throughout.
Advanced grammar modules address complex structures—relative clauses, circumstantial phrases, and exception constructions that distinguish intermediate from advanced proficiency. The Canadian Quran Academy’s instructors demonstrate how grammatical choices shift meaning—a changed case ending transforms who performs an action versus who receives it. Students drill these patterns until recognition becomes automatic rather than requiring conscious rule application.
The Canadian Quran Academy’s Arabic Grammar Course builds competency through layered instruction—noun systems first, then verb conjugation, finally complex sentence construction combining both elements systematically.
Arabic nouns change case endings—ḍammah for subjects, fatḥah for objects, kasrah for possession—based on grammatical role. Students learn singular, dual, and plural forms across genders. The Canadian Quran Academy drills these patterns repeatedly, enabling automatic application in speaking and writing, helping English speakers overcome reliance on word order effectively.
Arabic verbs conjugate for person, gender, number, tense, and mood using vowels, prefixes, or suffixes. Students master present, past, and command forms. The Canadian Quran Academy isolates variables before combining them in complex sentences. Daily drills ensure learners can apply multiple conjugations simultaneously, building confidence in accurate speaking and writing.
Arabic has verbal sentences starting with verbs and nominal sentences starting with nouns, each with distinct rules. Students practice constructing both, applying case endings and subject-verb agreement. The Canadian Quran Academy progresses from simple two-word sentences to complex structures with clauses, prepositional phrases, and embedded relatives, preparing learners for formal Arabic writing.
Conditional sentences, exceptions, and circumstantial phrases use specialized particles and case patterns. Students learn grammatical distinctions between “if” and “when,” exception phrase syntax, and circumstantial clause effects. The Canadian Quran Academy trains learners in these advanced structures, essential for reading classical texts, formal documents, and literary works beyond basic conversation.

Alhumdulilah my son 7yr old loves his Quran classes. Sheikh Nour Eddin Mohmoud is very interactive and makes it very interesting for my son. MashaAllah my son has progressed in his Tajweed learning, applying and memorizing. After so many teachers finally found Sheikh Nour who understands and communicate with parents and listens as to what exactly one is looking for their child. I really recommend this institute and sheikh Nour . InshaAllah I want my other son to start with Sheikh Nour as well. Hope this helps for anyone who is looking to get their kids to learn online.
Alhamdulillah this is a great place to learn Quran, Islamic Studies, and Arabic. I took these three classes and gained a lot. They teach through zoom in one on one sessions where you decide the time and day. I used whatsapp as the communication and the coordinators were really responsive. For Quran, we would read the arabic together and then learn the tafsir. After that I would memorize the surah or a portion for the next class. For Arabic, it was a focus on vocabulary and conjugations of verbs. For Islamic studies you went through a text together. The teachers are really nice and you can ask anything. I found it enjoyable learning about a different culture as I was raised in America. Give it a try!
Real transformations from students who mastered the Quran with our courses
I took a course at Shaykhi Academy, and my name is Hamza Osama from England. During my time there, I learned the Arabic alphabet and Tajweed rules. I have also successfully memorized approximately two Juz of the Quran. My teacher was the best, and I feel I benefited a lot from him. I would advise anyone who wants to learn the Arabic language, Tajweed rules, or the Quran to join Shaykhi Academy.
I’m Yahia Sarhan, I’m 15 years old and I’m from Canada. I’ve been a student at Shaykhi Academy since 2019, so about three or four years now. It’s been a great learning opportunity for me and I’ve learned a lot about Islamic studies, the Quran, and Arabic reading. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s trying to learn.
