Wa law ja’alnāhu Qur’ānan a’jamiyyan laqālū lawlā fuṣṣilat āyātuh. A-a’jamiyyun wa ‘Arabiyy? Qul huwa lilladhīna āmanū hudan wa shifā’. Walladhīna lā yu’minūna fī ādhānihim waqrun wa huwa ‘alayhim ‘amā. Ulā’ika yunādawna min makānin ba’īd.

“Had We made it a non-Arabic Quran, they would have said, ‘Why are its verses not explained clearly? A foreign language while the messenger is an Arab?’ Say, ‘It is guidance and healing for those who believe.’ But those who disbelieve have deafness in their ears, and it is blindness for them. They are being called from a distant place.” Surah Fussilat, 41:44

“And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Quran so that you may warn the Mother of Cities (Makkah) and those around it, and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A group will be in Paradise, and a group will be in the Blaze.” Surah Ash-Shura, 42:7
